The Canberra Party Boat is proudly operated by Canberra Cruises and Parties on the iconic Lake Burley Griffin. Since launching in 2020, we’ve been dedicated to giving every guest an unforgettable experience on the water. Our mission is simple, welcome you onboard like friends and create a cruise you’ll remember long after you step back onto the shore.

Clint Rees and Charmaine Rees

Clint and Charmaine discovered the Canberra Party Boat in 2020 and instantly saw its potential to become Canberra’s most memorable on‑water experience. With Charmaine’s background in event management and marketing, and Clint’s hands‑on expertise as a mechanic, creating a cruise business that blended fun, reliability and genuine hospitality just made sense.

What started as a dream has now become one of Canberra’s favourite ways to celebrate. Since launching, we’ve hosted more than 750 cruises and welcomed over 20,000 happy guests onboard.

Today, the Canberra Party Boat is known for warm service, great vibes and unforgettable moments on Lake Burley Griffin. Whether it’s a birthday, corporate function or any excuse to celebrate, Clint and Charmaine are dedicated to making sure you’re looked after from the moment you step onboard.

We hired out the party boat to celebrate my mother’s 90th birthday. There were 15 of us on board in ages ranging from 14 months to 90 years and we had a wonderful time with photo display on a big screen, music playlist piped through the ship’s speakers, speeches and overseas and interstate family joining us virtually via the screen. A wonderful event!!

Hired out the boat for my 30th and had one of the best nights of my life, as did everyone on board! Clint and Charmaine’s communication was prompt and clear and made everything easy. Would book again in a heartbeat!
